This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils across various year groups, including crucial SEN assistance, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment. We are looking for individuals available for an immediate start, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term cover to long-term engagements and permanent positions. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive daily rate of £95 to £110, reflecting their valuable contribution to pupil development.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored in-class support to individual pupils and small groups, promoting active engagement.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities and resources.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
* Observe and assess pupil progress, feeding back effectively to teaching staff.
* Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
* Support pupils during out-of-class activities, including break times and school trips.
About You
* Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting.
* Have a genuine passion for working with children and fostering their educational development.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
* Show a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people.
