Founded in 2016 by two brothers from a family of teachers, Dunbar Education was created to bring heart, honesty, and real expertise to education recruitment.
Since then, our team has helped thousands of teachers, support staff, and school leaders find roles where they can thrive — and supported hundreds of schools in building high-performing teams that reflect their values and raise standards.

Matt is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dunbar Education, where he oversees all operational functions across both Dunbar Education and its international division, iCan Teach UK.
Dan Brown
Dan is Co-Founder and Director at Dunbar Education. Alongside leading the team, he focuses on supporting secondary schools in Hertfordshire and North London with their recruitment needs.
Maddie Lewis
Maddie is an Associate Director at Dunbar Education, leading our Primary team and overseeing recruitment across Northamptonshire. She manages a fantastic team of Consultants.
George Perrott
George is an Associate Director at Dunbar Education, working with primary schools, teachers, and support staff across Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire.
Kieran Wallbank
Kieran is one of our dynamic Principal Consultants here at Dunbar Education, with a strong focus on working with schools across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire.
Shaynie Watton
Initially joining in recruitment, Shaynie soon made the move over to the world of compliance, and has since become one of our fantastic Senior Compliance Administrators.

Sophie has over a decade of experience and a heart for both people and pups! Recruiting teachers and support staff across East London and Essex, she combines a deep industry knowledge with a personal touch.

Since joining the team, Olivia has grown into a key figure behind the scenes - keeping everything organised, efficient, and running like clockwork, as our Finance and Office Manager.

Jakk is one of our dedicated Principal Consultants, specialising in Secondary and SEN schools across Bedfordshire, East London and Essex, where he expertly places teachers and other essential support staff.
