About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join a supportive school, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire students through the practical application of design and technology. You will deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in young minds while nurturing their technical abilities. Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons to secondary pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment effectively.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop environment for all learners.
• Contribute to the development of engaging curriculum materials and resources.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular design projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate positively with colleagues to enhance the overall departmental offering.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to complete your induction.
• Possess a strong passion for Design and Technology and its practical applications.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Be committed to fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning atmosphere.
• Have the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
• Possess effective communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
