We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a dynamic team, committed to creating a nurturing and structured learning environment. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to individual SEMH primary pupils.
* Cultivate positive, therapeutic relationships to support emotional regulation and development.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a safe and productive learning space.
* Develop and adapt engaging lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and multi-agency professionals to ensure holistic pupil support.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess experience working with primary-aged pupils.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, resilience, and empathy when supporting vulnerable learners.
* Possess a deep understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed practices.
* Be adept at creating a stimulating and supportive classroom atmosphere.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teamwork.
