About the Role
A forward-thinking school in the thriving Berkshire area is actively seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist primary team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), addressing a diverse range of complex learning needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. You will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational environment, working both on a one-to-one basis and within small groups to facilitate pupil progress. We are looking for an individual ready to make an immediate impact, with opportunities available for long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts depending on the best fit.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to primary pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Provide focused one-to-one and small group interventions for specific learning needs.
* Assist children experiencing complex challenges such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Actively promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other educational professionals to achieve pupil outcomes.
* Monitor and report on pupil engagement and development, contributing to assessment processes.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary setting.
* A strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application is essential.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* You can adapt your support strategies to meet the individual learning styles of diverse pupils.
* Excellent communication skills are paramount for interacting with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are committed to continuous professional development within the field of SEN.
