In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs, ensuring they access a full and enriching curriculum. Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN within a primary setting.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
* Implement specific strategies and interventions outlined in pupils' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
* Observe and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and relevant staff.
* Encourage pupils' independence and social development, building their confidence in academic and social contexts.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary school environment.
* You are an empathetic and patient individual with a genuine passion for inclusive education.
* Your communication skills are excellent, enabling effective interaction
