About the Role

This pivotal role involves providing essential cover across various secondary subjects, ensuring educational continuity and a positive learning environment for all students. We are actively seeking versatile educators who can seamlessly integrate into different classroom settings, supporting pupils' academic progress and engagement. This position offers flexible contract options, including daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and even permanent opportunities for the right candidate, with an immediate start available. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, receiving a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across diverse secondary subjects to maintain educational momentum.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care throughout the school day.
* Collaborate professionally with school staff, adhering to all internal policies and procedures.
* Provide constructive support to students, addressing their immediate learning needs during lessons.
* Offer valuable feedback to the permanent teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement when appropriate.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* You possess recent experience teaching across various key stages within a secondary school environment.
* You demonstrate exceptional adaptability and resilience when transitioning between different classrooms and subjects.
* You have a proven track record of implementing effective and positive classroom management strategies.
* You are passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning experience for all students.
* You communicate clearly and build rapport quickly with both students and colleagues.
