Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver dynamic French and Spanish lessons to secondary students of varying abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and cultural appreciation.
• Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the MFL curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Modern Foreign Languages.
• Possess the ability to teach French and Spanish confidently to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for language learning and cultural immersion.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Possess a strong understanding of current MFL curriculum requirements and pedagogical approaches.
