Key Responsibilities
* Provide invaluable in-class support to pupils, both individually and in small groups, across all primary year groups.
* Assist teachers in preparing engaging learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
* Offer targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs, implementing tailored strategies effectively.
* Contribute actively to the positive behaviour management of pupils, promoting respect and cooperation.
* Communicate regularly with teaching staff regarding pupil progress and any observations of concern.
* Support the overall well-being of pupils, ensuring a safe and nurturing educational experience.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development in a primary school context.
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly within a mainstream primary setting, is highly advantageous.
* You demonstrate an ability to work sensitively and effectively with pupils who have diverse learning requirements, including SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
