About the Role
A flourishing school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision, working with secondary pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to help pupils navigate their learning journey, offering behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and facilitating their successful reintegration into academic settings. We are looking for an individual who can make a significant difference in young people's lives; this opportunity is available on a variety of contracts including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent arrangements, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist provision.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, promoting a positive learning environment.
* Assist pupils in developing crucial emotional regulation skills.
* Support the reintegration of pupils into mainstream learning environments where appropriate.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Contribute to the creation of individualised learning plans and progress monitoring.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs.
* You have previous experience working effectively with secondary-aged pupils in an educational setting.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
* You are resilient, patient, and empathetic, understanding the complexities of SEMH.
* You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond calmly to challenging situations.
* You hold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
