About the Role
A progressive primary school in South London is seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join their specialist provision. This long-term, permanent opportunity offers an immediate start, supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
* Deliver engaging sensory stimulation activities tailored to individual pupil requirements.
* Implement tailored therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to support pupil development.

About You
* You possess previous experience supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* A genuine passion for working within a special educational needs primary setting is essential.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* The ability to follow instructions and implement specialist programmes effectively is crucial.
* You are a proactive team player who communicates effectively with colleagues and parents.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is paramount.
