About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to join a supportive school community on a long-term, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young minds in the fascinating world of biological sciences within our dynamic secondary environment. You will play a crucial role in cultivating curiosity and encouraging academic excellence across our vibrant curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
* Delivering engaging and effective Biology lessons to secondary students across various key stages.
* Planning and preparing comprehensive schemes of work that align with national curriculum standards.
* Assessing student progress regularly and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active participation and inquiry.
* Collaborating with colleagues in the Science department to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
* Participating in school-wide initiatives and contributing to the broader life of the school community.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a specialism in Biology.
* Demonstrate an inspiring passion for your subject, capable of igniting enthusiasm in students of all abilities.
* Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to our collegial staff culture.
* NQTs/ECTs, experienced MPS teachers, and UPS candidates are all encouraged to apply.
