About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Computing Teacher to join a dedicated school within the South East region, specifically Berkshire, on a long-term permanent contract starting in September 2026. We are seeking a passionate educator, open to applications from an Early Career Teacher (ECT) through to experienced teachers on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), to deliver engaging and innovative Computing lessons across the Secondary phase. This role involves typical teaching responsibilities, focusing on fostering a deep understanding and enthusiasm for technology in young learners. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore the dynamic world of computing.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver stimulating Computing lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment for all pupils.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the Computing curriculum.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
* Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives as required.

About You
* You must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Computing.
* You will demonstrate a genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire secondary school students.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport.
* You are committed to creating an inclusive classroom where every student can thrive.
* You are proactive, organised, and adaptable to the evolving needs of the curriculum and pupils.
* You value teamwork and are eager to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared educational goals.
