Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver an exciting Biology curriculum, incorporating practical experiments and theoretical concepts up to Key Stage 5.
• Integrate your Chemistry specialism into lessons, fostering a deeper understanding of scientific principles.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress, providing targeted feedback for improvement.
• Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom atmosphere where all students feel empowered to learn.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the science department to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
• Contribute to the wider school community through active participation in school events and initiatives.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field, ideally with a Chemistry specialism.
• Possess a demonstrable ability to deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Be an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, committed to fostering a love for science in young people.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to learning and student success.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, collaborating effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Show a proactive approach to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute positively to the school's ethos.
