This vital role involves supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), working both one-to-one and in small groups. You will be instrumental in assisting children with complex learning needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, ensuring they thrive in an inclusive environment. We offer opportunities for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent contracts, with competitive daily rates ranging from £90 to £115, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Work closely with individual children, fostering their development and engagement.
* Facilitate small group learning sessions, adapting activities to diverse needs.
* Assist pupils presenting with complex learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language challenges.
* Contribute to creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff to ensure holistic pupil progress.
About You
* Possess previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, particularly in a primary setting.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners with complex needs.
* Exhibit strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show adaptability and resilience when faced with diverse and evolving pupil requirements.
