About the Role
Join a thriving school as a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational journey of secondary-aged pupils with complex needs within a specialist SEN provision. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to support an adapted curriculum, foster individual growth, and promote independence across various learning activities. We are seeking committed individuals interested in a range of contract options, from long-term and permanent roles to flexible daily supply and short-term assignments, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the delivery of an adapted curriculum, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all learners.
* Actively encourage and facilitate pupils' independence and self-help skills in daily routines and learning tasks.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
* Contribute to the positive behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere.
* Monitor and document pupil progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for further development.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the unique learning requirements of secondary-aged pupils with complex needs.
* Previous experience working within an SEN setting or with individuals with special educational needs is highly valued.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach is central to your professional practice.
* You are proactive and adaptable, comfortable responding to diverse situations within a dynamic school environment.
* You hold a steadfast commitment to promoting the well-being, progress, and independence of every pupil.
