SEN Class Teacher

This rewarding position involves leading small groups of primary-aged children, each with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), by creatively adapting the National Curriculum to meet their unique learning profiles. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic and supportive educational experience. We are seeking a passionate educator ready for an immediate start, with various contract options available including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or a permanent arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic, pupil-centred lessons for primary children with SEN.
* Skillfully adapt the National Curriculum content to individual learning requirements.
* Develop and implement personalised learning objectives for each pupil.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including TAs and external therapists.
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
* Contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and well-organised classroom setting.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Demonstrable experience in supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN is crucial.
* A genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for teamwork.
* The ability to differentiate teaching strategies effectively for diverse needs is vital.
