About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious secondary school in the West Midlands, specifically within Shropshire, as a dedicated Cover Supervisor. We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to ensure the seamless continuation of learning across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. This vital role offers the flexibility of long-term, daily supply, short-term, or even permanent contract options, with an attractive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, starting as soon as possible. You will play a crucial part in fostering a positive and productive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively supervise classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and procedures, maintaining a calm and orderly environment.
* Ensure pupils are engaged with and complete the pre-prepared work set by the absent teacher.
* Provide clear instructions and support to pupils, encouraging active participation in learning activities.
* Report any notable issues or concerns regarding pupil behaviour or progress to relevant school staff.
* Foster a respectful and productive atmosphere where all pupils feel valued and supported in their learning journey.

About You
* You possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour management techniques.
* You are highly adaptable and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced educational environment.
* Your communication skills are outstanding, allowing you to interact effectively with pupils and staff.
* You are consistently professional, reliable, and committed to upholding school values.
* You have a genuine passion for supporting pupil learning and can inspire confidence in others.
