About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Delivering engaging and effective Physics lessons across all key stages of secondary education.
• Utilising a strong specialism in Chemistry to teach across the Science curriculum when required.
• Developing and implementing innovative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assessing student progress accurately and providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
• Contributing positively to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
• Maintaining a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment conducive to excellent learning outcomes.

About You
• You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are committed to educational excellence.
• Demonstrable expertise in Physics is essential, complemented by a robust understanding of Chemistry.
• You have the ability to inspire students of all abilities and foster a love for science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build strong rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• You are proactive in your professional development and open to new teaching methodologies.
• Both experienced educators and early career teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
