We are seeking an enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in the Wolverhampton area. This vital role involves delivering targeted support across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 to enhance pupil progress. You will work closely with young learners, providing tailored interventions to help them achieve their full potential. This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent arrangements, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective small group and one-to-one intervention sessions across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated learning activities tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Regularly assess pupil progress, identify areas for development, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCo, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil support.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and outcomes for reporting purposes.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary setting.
* Possess proven experience delivering successful intervention programmes across different primary year groups.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for supporting pupils with diverse learning needs and helping them overcome challenges.
* Command excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show a proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
