About the Role
At an ambitious school, we are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide crucial, individualised assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This vital role involves implementing specific EHCP targets to facilitate the pupil's access to the curriculum. You will be instrumental in nurturing their independence and developing essential life skills. This position offers an immediate start and various contract options including long-term, daily supply, or a permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a secondary pupil, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Implement educational healthcare plan (EHCP) targets effectively and consistently.
* Support the pupil in accessing all aspects of the curriculum across various subjects.
* Promote the development of independence and self-advocacy skills.
* Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required, ensuring dignity and respect.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
