About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a supportive school in the East of England, specialising in secondary provision. You will be instrumental in re-engaging disaffected learners, effectively managing complex behaviour, and delivering a modified curriculum tailored to individual needs. We are seeking professionals available for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, with competitive daily rates ranging from £150 to £250. This role offers the chance to make a profound difference to young people's educational journey, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging lessons across a modified curriculum for secondary-aged pupils.
* Implement effective strategies to re-engage disaffected learners and foster a positive learning environment.
* Proactively manage complex behaviour, ensuring a safe and structured classroom setting.
* Assess pupil progress diligently, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Collaborate with support staff and external agencies to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold its values.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent relevant teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate proven experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit exceptional behaviour management skills and a calm, resilient approach.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and fostering their academic and personal growth.
* Be adaptable and innovative in delivering a diverse curriculum to meet varying learning styles.
* Hold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
