We are seeking an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join a forward-thinking school located in Epping, Essex, starting in September 2026. This permanent, long-term position involves delivering engaging Science lessons with a specialism in Biology across the secondary curriculum. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Biology lessons across all secondary key stages.
* Assess pupil progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
* Develop stimulating learning materials that cater to diverse needs.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues within the Science department.
* Actively participate in wider school life and extracurricular activities.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Biology and inspiring pupils.
* Be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
