About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school starting September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to secure a long-term, permanent contract within a supportive environment, teaching across key stages and receiving a salary paid to scale. You will be instrumental in inspiring pupils through engaging and practical DT lessons, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative Design and Technology lessons to secondary pupils.
* Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive and achieve their potential.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Design and Technology curriculum.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school activities.
* Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Design and Technology.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for your subject and the ability to inspire young people's creativity.
* You exhibit strong classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning space for all.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and embracing innovative teaching practices.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals (MPS/UPS).
