A dynamic mainstream secondary school is currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their supportive team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an adaptable professional ready to make an immediate impact, with a start available as soon as possible. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term placements, daily supply, short-term engagements, and even permanent opportunities, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160. This vital role involves maintaining a productive and positive learning environment across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of their regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour and dynamics to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across a range of subjects, ensuring student engagement.
* Uphold the school's high standards for student conduct and expectations during lessons.
* Provide clear instructions and support to students, promoting independent learning.
* Communicate any significant issues or observations regarding student progress or behaviour to appropriate staff.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision throughout the school day.

* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with young people.
* Demonstrable experience in managing groups of students or young people in an educational setting is highly valued.
