About the Role
Join a supportive school environment in the South East, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher for a permanent, long-term position commencing September 2026. This exciting opportunity involves teaching engaging Science lessons with a specialism in Physics across the secondary phase, inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of the scientific world. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and challenging Physics lessons to secondary students, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.
* Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and lesson materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students in line with school policies.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-ordered classroom environment conducive to effective learning and positive behaviour.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department to share best practice and develop curriculum resources.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider life of the school community.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong academic background in Physics.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to teach engaging Science lessons across the secondary phase, with a particular strength in Physics.
* Be passionate about your subject, capable of inspiring students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Be a collaborative team player with effective communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced colleagues at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
