We are seeking an adaptable professional to provide crucial cover across a range of adapted curriculum areas within specialist SEN secondary settings. This role offers the flexibility of daily supply and short-term assignments, enabling you to bring your expertise to varied educational environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across various subjects to secondary-aged students with Special Educational Needs.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual student requirements.
* Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
* Ensure all school policies and procedures are adhered to consistently.
* Provide continuity of education, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning during periods of absence.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience with secondary school pupils.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of working effectively within Special Educational Needs provisions.
* Exhibit strong adaptability and flexibility, thriving in various classroom environments.
* Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and colleagues alike.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting the development and progress of young people with additional needs.
* Be proactive and resourceful, capable of quickly integrating into new school communities.
