Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assessing student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported to achieve their potential.
* Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental development initiatives.
* Upholding the school’s values and contributing to the wider school community.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* You are a passionate educator with excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Maths.
* You demonstrate the ability to engage and motivate secondary school students, making complex concepts accessible.
* You are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.
* You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as more experienced educators at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) levels.
