Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the unique needs of secondary-aged pupils with complex learning difficulties.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic progress.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as required.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff and external specialists, to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Uphold high standards of professional practice and contribute positively to the school's ethos and community.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
About You
* Possess a strong understanding of effective pedagogical approaches for pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive education and empowering young learners.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, capable of fostering a calm and productive atmosphere.
* Be a reflective practitioner, keen to develop your skills and embrace new challenges.
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
