This long-term opportunity offers flexible contract options, including daily supply or permanent placement, with an immediate start available, offering a competitive salary of £85 to £110 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one support to a primary-aged pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Cultivate a strong, trusting rapport with the pupil, understanding their individual communication styles.
* Effectively implement and monitor targets outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Collaborate closely with external therapists and specialists to integrate their strategies into daily support.
* Support the pupil's engagement in classroom activities and encourage their social development.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating educational experience for the pupil.
About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children with complex Special Educational Needs, such as ASD or PMLD.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach defines your professional practice.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond creatively to individual learning requirements.
* A genuine passion for fostering the development and well-being of every child is essential.
