Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Plan, prepare, and assess schemes of work that foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
• Provide effective feedback to students, guiding their progress and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the broader Science curriculum, with an ability to teach Chemistry at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment, upholding high standards of behaviour and academic rigour.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
• Possess a genuine passion for Physics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
• Be adept at differentiating lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of every pupil.
• Show a proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies.
• Possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum for Science and the requirements for GCSE and A-Level Physics.
