About the Role
A respected school in the heart of Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join its specialist secondary provision. You will be responsible for managing complex behaviours with empathy and skill, delivering a modified curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a modified secondary curriculum.
* Implement tailored strategies to effectively manage complex behaviour patterns.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
* Develop strong, trusting relationships with students to support their emotional well-being.
* Assess student progress regularly, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure holistic student support.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for SEN education.
* You have demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged students who have SEMH needs.
* You are skilled in de-escalation techniques and proactive behaviour management.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and possess a calm, empathetic approach.
* You believe in the potential of every young person, regardless of their past experiences.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
