An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Intervention Teacher to join a inclusive primary school in the vibrant Buckinghamshire area of the South East. This pivotal role involves delivering targeted support across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring every child can achieve their full potential. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
* Accurately assess pupil progress, identifying specific learning gaps and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to pupil development.
* Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment where all children feel confident to participate and thrive.
* Monitor and record pupil attainment and progress, providing regular feedback to relevant stakeholders.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting its inclusive ethos and educational goals.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong understanding of primary education.
* Demonstrate proven experience in delivering effective interventions across the primary age range (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
* Exhibit a deep knowledge of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting pupils with diverse learning needs and challenging them to succeed.
* Show excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
* Be a proactive team player, committed to collaborative working and sharing best practice.
