• Deliver outstanding and engaging Biology lessons across key stages.
• Plan and prepare stimulating Chemistry content to complement the science curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, attainment, and pupil welfare.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong academic background in Biology, with a proven specialism in Chemistry.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• Have a passion for inspiring secondary pupils to achieve their full potential in science.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
