About the Role:
Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Reading, Berkshire. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a long-term role. The position is available to start as soon as possible or in September.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support the social and emotional development of students.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

About You:
• Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable.
• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
