An inclusive secondary school in the South East is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their dynamic team immediately. This pivotal role involves overseeing classes during teacher absence, ensuring the continuity of learning across various subjects and year groups. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a positive and productive educational environment for all pupils. We are interested in candidates available for long-term assignments, daily supply, short-term contracts, or even a permanent position, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom activities.
* Maintain excellent behaviour management and ensure a safe learning space for students.
* Promote a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages pupil participation.
* Provide clear instructions and support students in completing set tasks.
* Report back to relevant staff on student progress and any behavioural issues encountered.
* Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols.
About You
* You possess proven experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* You demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to command respect.
* You are highly adaptable and capable of responding effectively to diverse situations.
* Your communication and interpersonal skills are outstanding.
* You are proactive in supporting student engagement and fostering a positive learning experience.
