About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Implement tailored structured routines to support pupil progress and predictability.
* Apply effective sensory strategies to create a calm and accessible learning environment.
* Provide essential communication support to facilitate pupil interaction and understanding.
* Work closely with primary pupils requiring specialist autism provision throughout their school day.
* Contribute to an inclusive and supportive educational setting where every child feels valued.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to achieve pupil goals.

About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged children with autism is essential.
* A strong understanding of special educational needs best practices and individualised support.
* Possess patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach in all interactions.
* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills are paramount for this role.
* Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
