This pivotal role involves providing essential support to pupils with Special Educational Needs within a mainstream setting, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment. We are open to discussions regarding various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent opportunities, commencing as soon as possible, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
* Effectively implement individual support plans, adapting resources to meet specific pupil requirements.
* Cultivate a nurturing and positive classroom atmosphere, managing behaviour constructively.
* Promote the social and emotional development of all children, encouraging independence.
* Regularly communicate pupil progress and challenges to the teaching staff and relevant stakeholders.
About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary school setting.
* A genuine passion for making a significant difference to pupils' educational journeys is essential.
* Your communication skills are outstanding, allowing you to connect effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
