About the Role
A well-established school is actively seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor to ensure educational continuity for its secondary phase students. This crucial role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused on their pre-set work, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. This fantastic opportunity offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even a permanent position, with an excellent daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee whole classes in the short-term absence of their regular teacher.
* Guide students through pre-prepared lessons and learning activities.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a productive and respectful environment.
* Provide appropriate support and respond to student inquiries about the assigned tasks.
* Uphold a safe, inclusive, and orderly learning space for all pupils.
* Report any significant student concerns or classroom incidents to senior staff members.

About You
* Possess demonstrable strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring and supporting young people's education.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Show an impressive capacity to adapt quickly to diverse subject areas and classroom dynamics.
* Maintain a highly reliable and proactive approach to all professional duties.
* Prior experience in an educational or supervisory capacity is a distinct advantage.
