Key Responsibilities
* Implement structured routines and visual schedules to promote predictability and independence for pupils.
* Deliver tailored sensory strategies and interventions to support pupils' regulation and engagement in learning.
* Facilitate effective communication using a range of appropriate methods and tools specific to individual pupil needs.
* Assist with the adaptation of learning materials to ensure accessibility and challenge for all pupils.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering positive interactions and self-esteem.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to monitor and review individual pupil progress effectively.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for inclusive education and fostering the potential of every child.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to connect with pupils effectively.
* Show a proactive and adaptable approach to different learning situations and unexpected challenges.
* Thrive as a collaborative team member, contributing positively to the wider school community.
* Hold a relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning or special educational needs (desirable).
