Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver dynamic, engaging Biology lessons across the secondary curriculum, catering to a range of abilities.
* Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every student feels empowered to thrive.
* Rigorously assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate effectively with the wider Science department to enhance curriculum development and share best practice.
* Actively contribute to extracurricular activities, enriching students' scientific experiences beyond the classroom.
* Uphold high standards of classroom management and contribute positively to student welfare across the school.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a demonstrable specialism in Biology.
* Show a proven ability to ignite curiosity and engagement in secondary science students.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork within a departmental setting.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher ready to make a significant impact.
