Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Reading, Berkshire. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. The position is available to start as soon as possible or in September.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students with Special Educational Needs.
• Develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student progress.
• Assess, monitor, and record student development.
• Contribute positively to the school's inclusive ethos.
About You:
• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Experience working with students with a range of SEN needs.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
