About the Role
Join a forward-thinking school in Berkshire as an SEMH Teaching Assistant, supporting primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs within a specialist SEN setting. This crucial role involves developing positive relationships and providing de-escalation strategies to foster a supportive learning environment. We are seeking dedicated individuals for various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £95 to £120, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to primary pupils identified with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Effectively implement de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
* Mentor individual pupils and small groups, fostering their personal and academic growth.
* Cultivate strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all.
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their individual learning objectives.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Previous experience within a primary school or specialist SEN
