Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct, individualised support to secondary pupils experiencing SEMH challenges.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies within the specialist provision.
* Support pupils in developing their emotional regulation skills and resilience.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into learning activities and routines.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to create bespoke support plans.
* Assist with general classroom tasks and contribute to a nurturing educational atmosphere.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an educational setting.
* Be proactive, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.
* Hold a strong understanding of strategies for managing behaviour and promoting well-being.
* Be adaptable and eager to contribute positively to a specialist school environment.
