This is an exceptional opportunity to join a supportive school in the Buckinghamshire area, seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experiences of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs. This rewarding position involves working both 1:1 and in small groups, providing tailored support to children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Successful candidates will assist pupils facing challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. We are looking for individuals available for an immediate start, with flexible contract options including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent roles, offering competitive pay between £90 and £115 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with special educational needs.
* Implement individualised learning plans and strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Assist children with complex learning difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language challenges.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other specialists to track pupil progress.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day.
About You
* You possess previous experience supporting primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
* You demonstrate a strong understanding of various complex learning difficulties, such as ASD and ADHD.
* You are an empathetic and patient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
