About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a highly regarded school in the East Midlands. This long-term, permanent opportunity involves providing essential, specialised support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a dedicated provision, starting as soon as possible, with a daily rate between £95 and £120. You will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and enriching educational experience for every child.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct, individualised support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care requirements discreetly and with dignity.
* Deliver engaging sensory stimulation activities tailored to individual needs.
* Implement structured therapy programmes under professional guidance.
* Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all.
* Foster effective communication with pupils, staff, and external professionals.

About You
* Possess experience working with children or young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
* Exhibit a proactive attitude and ability to adapt to varying pupil needs.
* Hold a strong commitment to supporting pupil development and well-being.
* Be comfortable and competent in assisting with personal care tasks.
* Show an understanding of different communication methods, including non-verbal cues.
