About the Role
An inclusive primary school in the South London region is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within a specialist SEN setting. You will work both 1:1 and with small groups of children, addressing complex learning needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. This position offers an immediate start and a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115, with flexible contract options including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
* Assist in the implementation of EHCPs, ensuring individual pupil targets are met.
* Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children.
* Adapt resources and activities to make learning accessible and engaging.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
* Support pupils in developing essential social, emotional, and communication skills.

About You
* You possess proven experience working with children who have complex learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties.
* A genuine passion for supporting the development and progress of pupils with SEN is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport with children, staff, and parents.
* You demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to your work.
* The ability to be proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player is highly valued.
* Relevant qualifications or professional development in special educational needs are desirable.
