About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join a progressive school, offering invaluable support to primary pupils within their specialist ASD provision. This vital role focuses on enhancing the learning and development of children on the autism spectrum, with flexible contract options available including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Implementing tailored structured routines to provide predictability and stability.
* Utilising effective sensory strategies to support pupils' regulation and engagement.
* Providing comprehensive communication support through various methods and tools.
* Cultivating an inclusive and highly nurturing learning environment for all children.
* Assisting with the delivery of individualised learning plans and specific targets.
* Collaborating closely with class teachers and other specialists to ensure holistic pupil support.

About You
* A genuine passion for fostering the growth of pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly autism.
* Previous experience supporting primary-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
* A strong understanding of diverse communication approaches and sensory processing needs.
* Demonstrated ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young learners.
* Possess a proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to daily challenges and opportunities.
* Committed to continuous professional development and personal growth within the field.
