Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a secondary pupil with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Diligent implementation of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets to facilitate progress.
* Support the pupil in accessing the full secondary curriculum across various subjects.
* Actively promote the development of crucial independence and essential life skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support strategy.
* Monitor and accurately record the pupil's academic and personal development journey.
About You
* Demonstrable experience providing effective 1:1 support to pupils with complex SEN, ideally within a secondary setting.
* A strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application in a classroom environment.
* Possess a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting individual learning needs.
* Committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere for every pupil.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration.
