We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join our vibrant team, contributing to a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This crucial role involves implementing structured routines, employing effective sensory strategies, and facilitating communication support within our specialist ASD provision. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement individualised learning plans and structured routines to support pupil progress.
* Apply effective sensory strategies to create a calm and supportive learning environment.
* Facilitate and enhance communication, utilising various methods tailored to each pupil's needs.
* Provide tailored assistance to primary pupils with special educational needs, fostering independence.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Assist with personal care and mobility as required, always
